Re-Sanding & Polymeric Sand
For block paving and other jointed surfaces, we can provide re-sanding after cleaning to replace sand that has been removed during the pressure washing process.
For general projects, we use kiln dried sand which is a cost-effective way to replenish the joints and stabilise the paving after cleaning. As an upgraded option, we can use polymeric sand. A specialist jointing sand that contains binders which activate with water and set within the joints. It provides a firmer joint and helps reduce weed growth and insect activity, while also reducing the likelihood of the sand being washed or brushed out.
This can be a great option for customers looking for a cleaner, lower-maintenance finish following their patio or driveway clean.
Sealing
For suitable paving and surfaces, we also offer protective sealing following cleaning and re-sanding.
A quality sealer can help protect the surface from staining, weathering and water penetration, while enhancing the appearance of the paving. Depending on the product and surface, sealing can also help make future cleaning and maintenance easier.
We will assess the condition and type of surface before recommending whether sealing is suitable.
